The Answers You Need
Do you sell albums?
We sell and design custom albums using one of the leading album design companies in the U.S. All Albums are 100% custom made and your album will never look like someone else. There are several shapes, textures and paper choices to make yours one of a kind. We offer one album design consultation for alterations and changes for your perfect look. We do not include re-edits of our work in the album pricing or edits of photos not the property of A New View Photography.
What equipment do you use?
We are a 100% Canon photography and video company for capturing the best colors and shadows. We utilize Adobe and Davinci Resolve software with Apple computers. We utilize Godox flashes and constant lights.
Is there a deposit?
There is a deposit required for all bookings. All deposits are applied to the final payments. Final payments are invoiced after services are rendered and before images are sent. All deposits are non-refundable. We never charge for full services before working, because life happens and you shouldn't pay for a service you didn't receive. We offer a transfer of dates as a free service up to 7 days prior to the event, or scheduled date (there are no guarantees that the revised date is available).
How are the photos and videos delivered?
All photos are delivered through an online gallery. If you booked a large event, engagement session or Wedding, you would receive a Sneak Peek within 5-9 days of the event, and the final gallery will follow. All videos are sent via Vimeo for security and for 100% quality downloads. We can also add some videos to the Wedding gallery (depending on the length). You can purchase prints straight through the gallery, but you can also take them digitally to your local print lab. Photos and videos are 100% yours to keep and are not watermarked for downloading, sharing or printing (watermarks are viable on the gallery page only).
How do I book?
You can contact us through our email, phone, or WeddingWire or theKnot. A video consultation is required for all bookings to ensure the credibility of both parties involved. Once all the details and packages are decided on, we will send an online e-contract for you to sign. The initial deposit is sent via Square (either by email or phone). Once the deposit and contract are completed, you are officially booked.
Can I help pick the music for the video?
We use all licensed and copyright-free music. We have a vast selection of Artlist and Envato elements songs to choose from for your wedding video. Songs that are frequently played on the radio are not generally listed on these sites and could cost thousands for the copyrights to be released to use. We will work with you to select a song, genre and mood of the video that fits your needs.
Can I review the video before it’s finalized?
We offer a video release consultation to review the video before the final send-out. This will include any music, sound and transition editing that you would like to have changed. Adding video length is generally unlikely because we include all the best footage from any event and never cut out important moments that we captured. The first revisions are always free and we can customize each video to your needs.
How far in advance should I book your services?
This is an open-ended question but it all depends on your event. For Weddings, we need at least 1 month's notice for deposits and details to be coordinated both with our staff and the staff of all the other vendors involved. Engagements and Proposals can be booked within 2 weeks of the time you request with details and deposit confirmed. Family sessions and small events need 2-3 weeks to plan and coordinate with details and deposits also confirmed.
